Edo Japan Opens 76th Alberta Location in Chestermere

Edo Japan (Edo), an Alberta-based restaurant known for its fresh and healthy Japanese Teppan-style cooking, will open its first location in Chestermere on Tuesday, April 14.

Edo has been serving affordable, delicious and ‘Simply Better’ meals to customers for more than 35 years. With signature dishes such as Teriyaki Chicken and Sukiyaki Beef made fresh and topped off with their time-honoured teriyaki sauce, Edo has quickly become a fast-casual dining favourite among Canadians.

The new street front location allows Edo lovers to enjoy their favourite meal in a casual restaurant setting or take their food to go. The new location will be franchisee Ryan Kwon’s first Edo Japan restaurant, and will mark Edo’s 76th Alberta location.

“It is an honour to be a part of a popular and successful Canadian business like Edo Japan,” said Ryan Kwon, Edo Japan Franchisee. “I look forward to delivering on Edo Japan’s ‘Simply Better’ promise by providing excellent customer service, good value and delicious, healthy meal alternatives to customers.”

“Throughout Edo Japan’s evolution and growth over the past 35 years, we have remained committed to delivering genuinely good food with quality ingredients to customers,” said Tom Donaldson, President and CEO, Edo Japan. “The opening of our 108th location is a testament to the dedication and success of our franchisees.”
